Tenn. College Faculty Pay Less Than Average

Tennessee is not raising college faculty salaries at the same rate most Southeastern states have over the past decade.

According to a report by the Southeast Regional Education Board,

Tennessee's four-year colleges and universities have increased faculty salaries by 3 percent since 1998 when adjusted for inflation. The average increase for all Southeastern states has been 7 percent.
