Sex education to see changes this fall

Beginning this fall, students across the country will see changes in sex education for the first time in more than 10 years.
The House recently approved amendments to the Healthy Act bill that would allow a more comprehensive approach while still main-taining the traditional message of abstinence until marriage.
Jimmy Hines, Cleveland County community health director, said the education will now include more information about sexually transmitted diseases as well as contraceptive methods.
