Feds approve $129M for Hawaii education

The federal government has approved $129 million in economic stimulus money for Hawaii's public schools.

U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan says Hawaii can use the money to help save jobs and reform its education system.

Gov. Linda Lingle requested the funds June 10.
