Pay differential for special ed 'retroactive'

The Public School System had started issuing pay differential to hard-to-fill positions in its special education program as mandated by Education Board policy.

However, there is confusion among PSS staff as to when they are entitled to receive the approved incentive, according to board member Galvin Deleon Guerrero, who raised this issue during the board's special meeting on Wednesday. He cited the need to clarify what was really decided by the body.
