Britain may waive some university tuition

Britain is considering a plan that would waive tuition for students who agree to get through university without grants or loans for living expenses.

The proposal is in the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills draft plan for higher education, The Times of London reports. Next year, university tuition is to be 3,225 pounds ($5,161) a year.
