Parents worried about saving for college

More than half of parents nationwide believe they won’t be able to save enough money for their children’s college education, a fear that is being compounded by the weak economy, according to a recent survey.

Those concerns are causing many to alter their spending habits, according to Futuretrust’s Hopes & Dreams survey.
