Education union slams voucher system

Australian schools will end up being driven by market forces if education vouchers are introduced, the education union says.

A report published by the Institute of Public Affairs has backed a proposal to dole out $12,000 vouchers to each Australian student and bring about the federal government's promised education revolution.

But Australian Education Union president Angelo Gavrielatos says it's another blatant push at privatisation.
