Many children in remote areas lack access to education

Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin revealed Monday that more than 125,000 children of schoolgoing age, many of them in remote and isolated places, were not attending school.

As such, he said, much effort had to be taken to ensure that all children had equal access to education.
