Nevada faculty urged to donate for lowest-paid workers

The University of Nevada, Reno's faculty representative Thursday urged tenured faculty to voluntarily contribute 4.6 percent of their pay to the university foundation, an amount equal to the pay cut all state workers, including UNR classified employees, must take to offset the state budget shortfall.
