Conference will focus on state education law

School board members, administrators and school attorneys will attend the 31st annual Western New York Education Law Conference from 8 a. m. to 3 p. m. Aug. 5 in the Millennium Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga.

Rep. Brian Higgins, D-Buffalo, will be the keynote speaker and will address the role of public education in revitalizing Western New York from a federal perspective.
