Auburn University student missing in Thailand

The parents of an Auburn University student who went missing during a trip to the Far East are asking for the public’s help in locating him. Michael Griffin Harrie, a student in Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine, was last seen in Thailand on July 14, 2009.

Harrie was participating in a study abroad program at Iwate University in Morioka, Japan. He was reported missing on July 16 by his parents after he failed to show up for a planned meeting with them in Tokyo.
