Case study: not everything is rosy at university

Bertan Budak, 21, is a third year student taking a degree in business finance at Durham University.

While he is happy at the university, there are teaching issues with which he is dissatisfied. He would like students to have more one-on-one meetings with their lecturers.

He said: “The university depends a lot on the internet as a means of communication between students and lecturers and one–on-one sessions are not flexible.
