MDC receives $250,000 grant for adult education program

Miami Dade College has received a $250,000 grant from the Florida Department of Education to support its English literacy and civic education programs.

The grant, which is good for one year, will go to MDC's North Campus, where adult education students who have limited English proficiency learn the language and how to better survive in the work place.
