American Public Education announces board changes

American Public Education Inc. on Thursday said that two of its directors are stepping down from its board.

The online higher education provider said David L. Warnock and Philip A. Clough, non-executive chairman of the board, are leaving the board. Warnock's resignation is already effective and Clough plans to continue serving until the company's annual meeting on May 14, 2010.
