More Young People Out Of Work And Education

There are 100,000 more 18-24-year-olds who became "neet" - not in education, employment or training - compared with this quarter last year.

The numbers have been fuelled by the recession as school-leavers and graduates struggle to find jobs.

According to the Department for Children, Schools and Families, 835,000 are now "neet", up from 730,000.
