Cutting education costs no help to anyone

University President Michael Adams assured the community in last Thursday's budget address that despite financial shortfalls, UGA students can still walk away with the quality education we paid for. Not to be a doubter, but we'll see.

Already, the money crunch is starting to creep into our daily lives. Last year's "one-time" $100 institutional fee has become a permanent $250, computer labs grow more outdated as the money to update technology gets eaten up and many academic buildings fall further....
