I won the lottery.

That statement is as true as the words coming out of many Blufftonians’ mouths late last week after Wednesday’s Powerball drawing.

In the course of 300 minutes Thursday, I had eight different informants tell me eight different people who had bought the lone $260 million winning ticket at eight different locations around Bluffton and Hardeeville.


Each tale teller was a trusty person and none of them had ever blabbered this kind of gossip before, at least to me. I figured....
