Should universities provide a moral education?

According to Steven Schwartz , vice chancellor of Sydney’s Macquarie University, the answer is an emphatic Yes.
Last night I did something I rarely do: crossed the Sydney Harbour Bridge, northwards, to attend Professor Schwartz’s inaugural annual oration, which announced its intentions in its title: Remoralising the university. It was well worth the trek.
