Be an active part of your children’s education

My kids, and probably yours, will be heading back to school soon. I will be going back, too, as a fourth-grade special education teacher.

I’m excited and nervous to begin a new job in a field I have worked so hard to break into. But that’s not what I’m going to talk about this week.

Instead, I would like to share a few stories and offer a couple of tips on making sure your child has a great school year.
