Rate of college-bound students steady in OK

A report presented to state higher education regents indicates the percentage of Oklahoma high school graduates attending a college in the state has increased only slightly during the past four years.

The College Going Rate Report issued Thursday showed the rate of Oklahoma public school graduates who attend a state college has gone up from 58.0 percent in 2003 to 58.4 percent in 2007, the most recent year for which statistics are available.
