College is not the right choice for all

USA TODAY ran several letters regarding an article on affording college in a time of recession. They all seemed to agree that it is still worthwhile ("College education is about more than money," Thursday).


I have a college degree and am a retired teacher, but I have a different opinion. College is a wise choice, but I think our ideas regarding education are flawed. Years ago, a few professions such as education, medicine and engineering could be entered only with a college degree. Now, college....
