Community College Enrollment Grows Again

Enrollment at NorthWest Arkansas Community College grew to 8,104 students this semester, continuing the college's 19 years of unabated growth.

Total credit hours are up even more. Students are taking 73,478 credit hours this semester, up 16 percent over last fall.

New students range from recent high school graduates to returning military veterans to laid-off workers, said Becky Paneitz, college president.
