Foreign students in limbo as 'rotten' college closes

A PRIVATE college for international students was allowed to operate for 10 years before it was recently discovered not to be meeting the standards required to provide education courses.

St George Institute of Professionals, a city-based vocational college offering courses in management, multimedia and graphic arts, was closed after a ''rapid audit'', leaving 129 international students, mostly from India, in limbo.

The college will surrender its registration from tomorrow, making it the fourth....
