October Films Offers 'An Education' in Controversy

October is rich in releases of some sort of special interest to women. In addition to several genuine cinematic treasures made by and about women and some seasonally ghastly flicks in time for Halloween, there are at least a couple of films that promise to stir serious controversy.

At the top of the month, on Oct. 2, four offerings come all at once.
