The Innocence Project, a program at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, is in a clash with Cook County prosecutors, the Chicago Tribune reported. The project works on behalf of people it believes to have been wrongly convicted of crimes. In a case it is now pursuing, prosecutors are asking not only for legal materials, but also students' grades, e-mails and unpublished memos.
