The Duck-Beaver football rivalry will be resolved – at least for this year – when one team wins Thursday's Civil War game and a spot in the Rose Bowl.

But what about the academic rivalry between the University of Oregon and Oregon State University?

There's no high-stakes test, science competition or essay-writing contest to determine which campus has the best scholars. So who wins the academic Civil War?
