Stimulus money could help U.S. schools catch up to world

Now that Washington is spending so much to revitalize our schools, it’s a good time to ask how our children are faring in the classroom compared with other youngsters around the world. The answer is: Not very well.

The latest to come to this troubling conclusion is the Oxford Analytica, an international think tank that draws on senior faculty at Oxford and other universities and whose clients include more than 50 governments.
