Rescue Higher Education: Students, Faculty March & Rally to Protest Cuts

Thousands of UC, CSU and community college students, faculty, and staff marched to the State Capitol from Raley Field in West Sacramento, and rallied protesting budget cutbacks, fee increases and layoffs. All segments of the higher education community joined in protesting the harm from hundreds of millions of dollars in cuts at the state's higher educational institutions.
