ESTES PARK, Colo. — The Estes Park Bobcats gave up four quick runs, but starting pitcher Carson Joens got out of the top of the first with a called strike.

It was a heck of a feat, finding the stroke zone through the snow that was coming down at that point, and credit catcher Randy Joens for tracking the heater through the large, swirling flakes. It was not a day for baseball in Estes Park Wednesday, at least not a game with a 4 p.m. start.

But everybody was on hand, including the University....
