Dear Dave,

I don't claim to be clairvoyant, or even very logical when making my NCAA Tournament picks, but the mere fact that Michigan State beat Connecticut in the Final Four to earn a spot in the championship game on Monday night is almost too much for my feeble mind to handle.

I watched the Spartans lose to both Maryland and North Carolina earlier in the season and wrote them off as an underpowered Big Ten joke. Sure, they were talented, but they were too young and inexperienced to play....
