Higher education chairwoman to join Obama administration

One of Trenton's leading higher education officials, Jane Oates, has been nominated to join the Obama administration at the U.S. Department of Labor, the White House announced yesterday.

Oates is in line to become the assistant secretary of employment and training administration, tasked with helping Americans acquire enough job skills to find their way in a fledgling economy.
