Baseball's series opener against Nebraska postponed

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The baseball series opener between the No. 9 Texas Longhorns and the Nebraska Cornhuskers scheduled for Thursday has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The two teams will play a doubleheader on Friday with the first game scheduled for 2 p.m. The second game of the doubleheader will start no earlier than 6 p.m.

CBS College Sports, which was slated to televise Thursday night's game, is hoping to televise one of the games in the series.
