Brenham boys fall in wild finish at soccer playoffs

GEORGETOWN - For 46 minutes of the Class 4A state semifinals between Brenham and Hidalgo Early College, both teams struggled to get their offenses moving.

That changed with 34 minutes to play, however, when Brenham broke a scoreless tie and the the two teams traded goals on their way to a high-scoring finish. In the end, the Cubs fell to the Pirates 3-2.
