WISCASSET — Wiscasset High School baseball pitcher Jimmy Davis doesn't have the greatest won-loss record. No, his 12-11 high school career mark heading into his senior year will not jump off the page for most. However, it's the other things that make this righty special.

For one, the senior says that he has a near 2.50 earned-run average. There have been several occasions where he has pitched 100, 110, 120 and even 130 or more pitches only to come out on the losing end of a 1-0 defeat.
