University of Arizona announces mid-year tuition increase

University of Arizona President Robert Shelton has announced a mid-year tuition hike for students registered for the 2009-2010 academic year. Each student will be required to pay an additional $1,100 tuition surcharge beginning in August if the plan is approved by the Arizona Board of Regents.
