Recession Alters College Admission Process

(CBS) For guidance counselor Nancy Siegel and the seniors at New Jersey's Millburn High, it's been a great year.

"We've had eight students accepted to Princeton, six to Harvard, five at Yale," Siegel said.

But for colleges, deciding which students to offer places to has been trickier than ever.

"It has definitely changed," Siegel said. "I see things moving in a totally different direction than they were years ago."
