Grant available for local teachers

College and university teachers living or working in Columbia, Green, Dutchess, Putnam, Sullivan, Ulster, Orange and Rockland counties can apply for a $14,000 Rotary International Grant that promotes education and volunteerism.

The grant assists low-income countries that can benefit from goodwill ambassadors qualified to teach subjects that have practical applications for a host country.
