Girls sports deserve equal attention

Wouldn't it be hard to imagine a world in which boys' high school sports were the only game in town? Girls would have to take a back seat to boys.

It wasn't that long ago that Title IX was passed and it made the playing field level for both boys and girls sports. It was the legislation that prohibited discrimination against students based on race, sex, or religion.
