UT-Austin students stage rally against concealed-gun bill

AUSTIN — About 200 college students stood in silence, many fighting back tears, as John Woods rang a bell 32 times Thursday in front of the Capitol.

It was the two-year anniversary of the massacre at Virginia Tech and students from the University of Texas at Austin had walked out of class to rally against legislation that would expand concealed-carry laws to college campuses.
