Tarrant County College bans smoking indoors, outdoors

ARLINGTON — Tarrant County College trustees voted Thursday to ban smoking everywhere on its campuses.

Trustees also agreed to keep the tuition rate at $50 per semester hour for the fall semester.

Current policy prohibits smoking except in a designated outdoor area. Students may smoke in their cars but cannot dump ashes or cigarette butts out of their vehicles, under the new policy.
