College Democrats take concerns to Texas Capitol

AUSTIN — Stop the spiraling increases in college tuition. Don’t allow guns on college campuses. And don’t require a photo ID card to vote.

That was the message some of Texas’ young Democrats delivered to state lawmakers Monday, as about 20 students — wearing T-shirts that read "Tuition Relief Now" and pins that read "No guns on campus" — gathered at the steps of the Capitol.
