Getting into college: Recent grads counsel teens

Many high school students have the necessary grades for college, but the gantlet of high-stakes tests, financial aid applications and scholarship searches can leave them bewildered and too often on the sidelines, experts say.

A statewide experiment in college counseling is quietly working to change that.
