    ESU Human Resources is now affiliated with HR Partners for job applications. To apply for a vacant Classified Position at ESU, complete an on-line application at www.hrepartners.com. Paper applications are no longer accepted. Below are the employment procedures to assist you in applying for a vacancy.

    • If you do not have access to a computer, there are computers available in the ESU office of Human Resources, local public libraries and Workforce Planning Centers.
    • Go to HR Partners web site, www.hrepartners.com, to set up your account and complete the on-line application. You can include your resume in the application form provided using the copy and paste features. You only need to complete your application once and it may be updated at any time. After updating your application, be sure to re-apply for any current vacancies in which you are interested.
    • Review the ESU open position listing at HR Partners and apply for any position you are interested in. There are several employers represented on the HR Partners web site and you can apply to them directly from their HR Partners link.
    • If you provide an email address please check your email account regularly.
    • If you think that you meet the requirements for claiming Veteran's Preference, please provide a copy of your DD214 to the ESU Human Resources Office.

    • Logon to HR Partners where you may
      • edit your existing application
      • apply for a position
      • view a list of positions for which you have applied


    Applications are accepted only when an opening exists. Applicants must apply on-line for every position for which they wish to be considered.

    When a vacancy occurs, the position is posted for at least seven calendar days and will generally be advertised in the Emporia Gazette.

    Applicants may contact the ESU office of Human Resources, check the website or any Workforce Planning Center to inquire about job openings.
