• The Writing Center offers one-to-one tutoring in reading and writing for students enrolled in University-required core courses.

  More specifically, the consultants in the Writing Center can help you get started writing by teaching you how to brainstorm for ideas. Consultants can help you learn to organize those ideas and to develop plans for your papers. Once you have a draft, consultants can answer your questions about how to revise your papers and even read drafts to see if they make sense. Consultants can also answer questions about sentence structure, punctuation, and documentation, and they are expert in library research.
