  Bakersfield College offers several assessment services:

  New Student Assessment

  Prepare for Your Assessment Tests

  GED Testing
  GED testing in the Assessment Center is offered by appointment. Testees are required to register and pay at least three days prior to the date of the test.

  SAT and ACT
  SAT and ACT tests are administered by the Assessment Center on campus on the national dates for these tests. Testees must register in advance with the SAT or ACT programs. Registration forms are available in high school counseling offices or in the Assessment Center.

  CLEP
  CLEP (College Level Examination Program) tests are administered by the Assessment Center by appointment. These tests can be taken to receive credit by exam for certain courses at BC and other colleges. Testees must register and pay no later than the Friday prior to the exam.

  Proctored Exams
  The Assessment Center can proctor other exams including exams for other colleges, apprenticeship program exams, and Wonderlic. There are fees for each of these exams. Contact the Center at 661.395.4479 for details.
