Education

My Statement

Objective: seeking opportunity to become a global academician for teaching, research and academic administration in the field of management education and gain multicultural experience: www.jknanda.com
Hi,
As to my background, I have around 34 years of experience in teaching, research and academic administration in various fields of commerce and management in reputed government colleges, like Ravenshaw College, now University for 20 yrs and others. For more details, please have a look at ‘Organizations Served’ in my CV and ‘My Plan’, which may be of help in knowing how my knowledge, skills and experience satisfy the key selection criteria as expected in this Position. I was retired from the Department of Higher Education, Government of Orissa of India at 58 (65 by UGC of India), the retirement age of Government Services in Orissa. After my retirement on 31st March, 2011, I was busy for discharging my social responsibility (daughter’s wedding) which was completed in January 2013. In between I have given guest lectures, visiting professor for MBA and was also Professor and Dean of Dr. P.C.Mahalanabish School of Management, West Bengal, which I left as I didn’t like the environment. I have done M.Com. and MBA (through distance education and it’s ornamental for CV as I got M.Com.), apart from my research degrees like Ph.D. and D.Litt. I know what is expected of me in this job in details. I can meet your expectation within one month of joining, if given a chance. I’m physically quite fit and like relocation as I enjoy multicultural experience. I’m quite aware of the global academic pulse.
As I’m bit workaholic type, I can devote maximum time to prove worth it. It’s better to spend my retired life at different places of India and abroad. Please see the attachments and if possible visit my website: www.jknanda.com. In India, generally referees are requested to air their views on the candidates by the employers.
Thanks & regards.
Jayanta
