Neb. college to celebrate MLK Day with service

Students at the University of Nebraska at Omaha will celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of service next week.

The UNO Service-Learning Academy will sponsor the day of service, which takes place Monday on the federal observance of King's birthday.

UNO students, faculty and staff will volunteer with youth at Turning Point Campus and the South Omaha Boys and Girls Club.

Food, beverages and an MLK Day of Service T-shirt will be provided to those who volunteer.
