University of Central Missouri to phase out 10 majors

Journalism and geography are among 10 undergraduate degree programs that will be phased out at the University of Central Missouri.

The state's Coordinating Board for Higher Education has ordered all 35 of Missouri's two- and four-year public colleges and universities to identify so-called low-producing programs.
