University of Nevada President Milton Glick Dies at 73

The community is mourning the death of University of Nevada President, Dr. Milton Glick.

University spokesperson, Jane Tors tells Channel 2 News he died of a stroke at a hospital late Saturday night. Tors called Glick a respected leader who she says had a warm, engaging personality and "made things happen."

He started as the University of Nevada's president on August 1st, 2006. He came in focusing on student growth, improving education and economic diversity.
