Problem Sets


All problem sets are due at the beginining of class on the assigned due date. Students may work together on the problem sets but are required to write up their own solutions and code. Students will make oral presentations on the homework.



Exams


There are no exams in this course.



Project


A report of about 15 typed pages on some topic in applied superconductivity is required. This report should be concise and include the following:

  • use of some material from this course
  • a review of current literature on the topic
  • assessment of the impact of the high - temperature superconductors on the topic
  • a critical review of alternate technologies
